Passionately, On Fire.

That's what I desire for this year.

This year, I know is going to be one of transitions. I am graduating in May.
I have no idea of what to pray for except that Yah prepares my heart for whatever He wants.

It could be a number of things...
Stay in Harrisonburg.
Move.
Leave my roommates.
Leave my church.
Start another one.
Get a job.
Finish my book.
Go into full-time ministry.
Live on my own.
Live with parents again.
Commute.

those are just a few possibilities swirling through my head...

I am so glad and filled with joy that I serve a God who existed before creation, before the world began and long after it ends He will still be. He was, and is, and will come. He isnt limited to years, or words, or opinions, etc He is soverign and knows everything.

His ways, His love, His mercy, His forgiveness, His mysteries are beyond my comprehension. I am so satisfied with that, but I want to be on fire as I seek to understand and know Him with my whole heart, soul, and mind.

It is so easy as time ticks on in life to become complacent. No matter what it is with... school, relationships, jobs, roles, family matters, etc. When I first started learning the Word and entering into a relationship with my Savior, getting to know the Father, I was so passionate. I was so thankful for the way He rescued me, pulled me from sin's grasp and gave me freedom, gave me a new heart, a new life.
I wanted everyone to know Him like I was getting to know Him. I wanted to tell everyone about Him. Do everything for Him and only because of Him.

It's not that anything has changed there...but sometimes the passion to do it isnt as strong as it first was, when I first fell in love, and I dont want it to be like that. So this year, Im making it a point to remember the joy of my salvation through whatever transitions come my way.

I want to be passionately purposeful in life, not just in 2010, but for always. Life is too short I want to live it on fire for my Lord.

Will you join me? Make it a point this year to be passionate in your relationships, at your job, with your family, most importantly for your Lord. If you dont know Him, please please send me an email and ask away or just to communicate: schneisk@gmail.com.

this month is my year anniversary for the blog, lol. its a good outlet, but more than that I hope you can glean from it and it continues to bless you.
last year in January I wrote about living purposefully for my God, this year its a passionate purpose.
